Wed Aug. 29: leave Montreal at 8 am
Wed Aug 29: leave Toronto at 10:30
Thurs Aug. 30: Arrive in Shanghai at 1:30
Aug. 30 to Sept. 1: Visit Shanghai
Sat Sept 1: Hook up with our agency adoption group
Sun Sept. 2: Leave with Group for Nanchang
Sun Sept. 2: MEET PENELOPE in NANCHANG at 4:30
Sept. 2 to Sept. 7: It's all about Penelope
Sat Sept. 8: Head to Beijing
Mon Sept. 10: Baby's Visa & Medical Visit
Sun Sept. 9: Great Wall of China
Tues Sept 11: Visit Summer Palace
Wed Sept 12: Tiananmen Square & Forbidden City
Thurs Sept 13: Receive Baby's Visa
Fri Sept 14: Bringing Penelope Home! Arrive in Montreal at 9:15 pm

Quick Update

Boy have I been a bad blogger! Too busy...but just in case you care...all is pretty much in motion for our trip to China...Looks like we will get the babies on Sunday, September 2...WOOHOO!!! I will post our itinerary--for a preview you can always go to Susan's blog...journeytomeimei(in links above)...she's one step ahead of me...thank goodness she's leading the way! Just 6 more dodos to go!!!

I just looked at your itinerary...it's almost time to go!!! The very best "last minute" advice I can give you is to get all of your things organized and together the best that you can, and then focus on RELAXING and GOING WITH THE FLOW. You may have flight glitches, or any number of small snags in the road. Just let any little troubles roll right off, and stay focused on the big picture. Stay calm, so that when you hold Penelope for the first time, you are relaxed and full of love for her--and she feels no stress or anxiety coming from you. I am so happy that soon she'll be in your arms where she belongs!!! Have a fantastic trip, and be sure to savor every single minute (even the difficult ones). This is a journey that you'll never forget!
